Great West Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Ki-Ai Pierson as Funding Manager. As Funding Manager, Ki-Ai will work to offset project costs by securing competitive grants and other funding for Great West’s clients. Ki-Ai leads a team of funding specialists who provide professional grant administration and grant writing services. As a leader in securing grants to make needed infrastructure affordable, the Great West funding team aims to build on over $454 million secured in grants through preparing grant applications and performing grant administration following a grant award.
The Town of Saco is thankful to have Ki-Ai to work with on several of the town’s grants; her enthusiasm is motivational, and her support is valuable.

Ki-Ai is passionate about improving systems through collaborative leadership on complex projects. She has 15 years of project management experience across corporate, nonprofit, and governmental sectors in business and public health. She has a strong background in administering Department of Housing and Urban Development programs, fund development for nonprofit organizations, implementing statewide public health systems, and administering multimillion-dollar federally funded grants. Ki-Ai has successfully collaborated in writing grants worth over $8.5M from federal, state, and private organizations.
Ki-Ai has participated in multiple local and statewide professional organizations, including Helena Young Professionals and Women Leading Montana. She has also represented statewide initiatives alongside Governor Gianforte and promoted civic engagements with Montana’s First Lady Lisa Bullock.
